A Reason To Fight

Sometimes I wonder what would happen to the exiting social structure if we close our eyes, and on opening, we find ourselves in the midst of pre -historic era! Just imagine yourself living in caves / forests and hunting the animals for survival. Animal was to be most precious and the only commodity. Its flesh used as food, skin worn as the dress, its hair used as cushions, its bones as weapons (spearheads) its fat as the fuel for heating and lighting purposes. Nothing was to be stored for tomorrow, and if at all stored, we would consider it as an expendable commodity. We would never think of storing the killed animal for handing over to our next generations as heritage for their consumption!

What was then a reason to fight with other groups of people? Would you like to raid people living in a nearby cave just to snatch the animal which they had killed four or ten hours ago? I am sure no. You would probably try to hunt a fresh prey instead of eating the already killed one. ( interestingly, other hunting animals like the lions and tigers also prefer the same ). Yes, a scuffle could take place on some personalized issue, that could lead to injuries or even death.

Moral: You should have some good cause to fight!!
